Till We Meet Again!

Concerts
28 May 2026

On 28 May, the closing ceremony of the “Student Spring – 2026” festival took place. For three months, the university moved to its own beat – a rhythm of creativity, discovery and achievement. Competitions, projects, sporting events, academic forums – this year’s programme was truly packed. And now the evening had come to look back together at the brightest moments, to thank those who made this spring happen, and, of course, to name the best among them.

Before the ceremony began, everyone was invited to explore interactive stalls set up by the university's student organisations. Visitors could write about their most memorable moments of the spring or make a promise to themselves for the future. Students also joined a dance flash mob organised by the Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture, which set an energetic tone for the evening.

The highlight of the night was the awards ceremony. Over 180 students received diplomas in nine categories, each reflecting a different facet of student life. Our students once again proved that the young people of BSUFL are not only dedicated to their studies but also know how to create, inspire and lead. Particular pride was taken in the participation of activists from the military-patriotic club “Rodina 1975” and the debate club – spaces where leadership, civic engagement and team spirit are forged.

The festival participants were recognised in the following categories:

“Successful Start”;

“With Love for the Motherland”;

“Wings of Creativity”;

“Time to Win”;

“Energy of Spring”;

“Invisible Strength”;

“Opening Scientific Horizons”;

“Igniting Hearts in Student Work Teams”;

“Content Creators”.

All awardees received branded T-shirts and bracelets, and will be invited to the traditional student camping trip in the coming semester.

The closing ceremony also saw the results of the “Best Curator – 2026” competition announced. For students, a curator is a friend, a mentor and the person who brings a group together as a real team. The title of “Best Curator – 2026” went to Anastasia Bokovets, a lecturer at the Department of Spanish Phonetics and Grammar and curator of Group 101 at the Faculty of Romance Languages. Her dedication, her attentiveness to students and her genuine involvement were recognised as outstanding.

Creative ensembles were not forgotten either. For their active participation in the “Student Spring – 2026” festival and their high achievements in the arts, certificates of recognition were awarded to:

“Meihua” Dance Theatre, directed by Marina Filimonova, Deputy Dean for Ideological and Educational Work at the Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture;

“Renaissance Dance” Theatre, directed by Yanina Misevich;

“Rhythm Inside” Contemporary Dance Studio, directed by Yevgenia Gaiduk;

“Art Group” Pop Vocal Studio, directed by Tatyana Mikhalkevich;

BSUFL Student Choir “Cantus Juventae”, directed by Alexei Klimovich, with choirmaster Svetlana Pertsova.

The closing ceremony also featured a vibrant concert programme. Faculties and creative groups from across the university performed vocal and dance numbers that had won over audiences not only during “Student Spring” but throughout the entire academic year.

The closing of the festival was a reminder of just how bright, talented and productive this spring has been. Student life is a time of bold ideas and true friendship – and BSUFL is the place where all of this becomes possible.

Until we meet again at the “BSUFL Student Spring – 2027” festival!
