Help us to gather information
Many generations of lecturers, staff and students passed through this university, founded shortly after the liberation of our country. Yet, many interesting pages of our common history may still remain obscure. Did you know that...
- the first library director studied at the Niasvizh teachers' seminary, like Belarusian national writers Yakub Kolas and Kuzma Chorny?
- the author of the stained-glass window in Building A joined the BSSR Artists' Union upon its completion?
- the first MSLU book was published back in 1958 in hardcover?
- the oldest building is D - the former dormitory - and not the main one, B?
- in Soviet times, MSLU had its own TV studio with regular broadcasts?
The MSLU museum is alive, constantly changing and being enriched. The project coordinators continue to gather and digitise our multilingual history.
In case you have documents, photos, any information about MSLU and its people, we invite you to contribute to preserving the university's chronicle! After being digitised, your objects will be returned. Your name will be included in the list of donors.
