International Student Support Sector

The International Student Support Sector is a structural subdivision of the International Relations Center of the Belarusian State University of Foreign Languages (BSUFL). Its goal is to provide organizational, technical, and informational-methodological support for international activities aimed at developing and expanding the range of educational services for international students. It also handles interactions with state competent authorities on matters of international cooperation, stay, and studies for international students.

Main functions of the International Student Support Sector:

• Organizing and managing document flow related to the export of BSUFL's educational services to international students.
• Processing documents and providing support for international students.
• Organizing the registration of international students arriving to study at BSUFL; monitoring compliance by international students with the Rules of Stay for Foreign Nationals and Stateless Persons on the Territory of the Republic of Belarus.
• Providing informational support and counseling to international students on matters related to their stay in the Republic of Belarus and studies at BSUFL.

Main areas of activity of the International Student Support Sector:

• Preparing information about educational services offered by the university for international students.
• Coordinating with partner universities on hosting international delegations, sending and receiving students, and participation in conferences and other joint international events.
• Providing advisory support on matters of medical assistance in the Republic of Belarus for international students.
• Conducting informational and analytical activities in the field of educational services for international students.
• Facilitating the employment of international citizens at BSUFL in accordance with the current legislation of the Republic of Belarus.
• Providing organizational, logistical, consultative, informational, and tourist services to international applicants.
